Sonic R

In 1997, TJ Davis sang Sonic across every track of Sonic R. Almost thirty years later, she's singing him again.

Sonic R raced onto the Sega Saturn in 1997 with a soundtrack by composer Richard Jacques, and every song on it was sung by TJ. For a generation of players, her voice is the sound of Resort Island at full speed.

Three years later she sang for Richard again, on Metropolis Street Racer for the Sega Dreamcast.

In 2026 TJ came back to Sonic with New Frontiers: four songs from Sonic Frontiers, reimagined, and a brand new original, funded by 399 backers on Kickstarter.
